Situ\u00e9e \u00e0 mi-chemin entre la ville d’Aix-en-Provence et la montagne Sainte-Victoire<\/em>, cette randonn\u00e9e de 3 heures vous permettra d’admirer de tr\u00e8s belles vues sur les lacs Zola<\/em> et Bimont<\/em>. Depuis ce dernier lac, l’itin\u00e9raire descend de magnifiques gorges, \u00e0 travers une v\u00e9g\u00e9tation compos\u00e9e de pin\u00e8de et de garrigue, cette\u00a0 formation v\u00e9g\u00e9tale broussailleuse si caract\u00e9ristique de la Provence. Au retour, sur 3 km, vous marcherez vers l’est, face \u00e0 l’imposante montagne. Le manque d’ombre tout au long du parcours fait de cette randonn\u00e9e une marche id\u00e9ale lors des journ\u00e9es fra\u00eeches et ensoleill\u00e9es de printemps, d’automne et m\u00eame d’hiver.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Au pied m\u00eame
de la montagne Sainte-Victoire<\/strong><\/h3>\n

D\u00e9marrant des environs du\u00a0Tholonet<\/em>, un village situ\u00e9 4 km \u00e0 l’est d’Aix-en-Provence, cette magnifique marche vous conduira d’abord \u00e0 la\u00a0Roche Perc\u00e9e<\/em>. Ce gros rocher, perc\u00e9 d’un large trou, fait partie d’un superbe affleurement d’argile rouge. Ensuite, le chemin vous m\u00e8nera progressivement, \u00e0 travers oliviers et pins, jusqu’au pied m\u00eame de la montagne<\/em>\u00a0Sainte-Victoire<\/em>, qui fut peinte si souvent par C\u00e9zanne. Depuis le petit refuge qui porte le nom du peintre, vous entamerez alors la descente, profitant de vues saisissantes vers le sud.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

A l’assaut de la Croix de Provence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sommet symbolique de la montagne Sainte-Victoire<\/em>, m\u00eame s’il n’en est pas le plus haut point, la\u00a0Croix de Provence<\/em>, une croix g\u00e9ante, de pierre et de m\u00e9tal, domine Aix-en-Provence\u00a0et ses environs, \u00e0 une altitude de 946 m. Bien qu’assez courte, cette randonn\u00e9e est sportive en raison de l’important d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 et de passages rocheux plut\u00f4t raides. Mais c’est un pur bonheur, surtout quand on prend son temps, une randonn\u00e9e de r\u00eave ! Et, au d\u00e9but du printemps, ou en automne, lorsqu’on atteint le sommet au moment du lever du soleil, l’\u00e9motion, elle, atteint son apog\u00e9e ; quant au casse-cro\u00fbte que vous d\u00e9gusterez l\u00e0-haut, il restera longtemps grav\u00e9 dans votre m\u00e9moire.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ce beau sentier vous conduira au sommet d’une colline appel\u00e9e R\u00e9gagnas<\/em>, qui offre un panorama superbe sur un environnement vallonn\u00e9, \u00e0 20 km environ au sud-est de d’Aix en Provence : tout autour, des vall\u00e9es encaiss\u00e9es, o\u00f9 sont cultiv\u00e9es vigne et arbres fruitiers, apparaissent enserr\u00e9es entre des escarpements rocheux, eux-m\u00eames domin\u00e9es par les deux principales cha\u00eenes locales : la\u00a0montagne\u00a0<\/em>Sainte-Victoire<\/em>\u00a0et le massif de la\u00a0Sainte-Baume<\/em>. L’Ermitage de Saint-Jean du Puy<\/em>\u00a0sera l’un des points phares de la journ\u00e9e : habit\u00e9 par des moines entre les\u00a05\u00e8me<\/sup>\u00a0et 15\u00e8me<\/sup>\u00a0s., cet ermitage surplombe la vall\u00e9e de l’Arc.<\/em><\/p>\n

Cette l\u00e9gendaire randonn\u00e9e vous emm\u00e8nera du pied du versant nord de la montagne Sainte-Victoire<\/em> jusqu’\u00e0 sa cr\u00eate. Une fois atteinte, vous parviendrez au Prieur\u00e9, construit au 17\u00a0\u00e8me<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0s., avant d’acc\u00e9der au sommet le plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre de la montagne, la\u00a0Croix de Provence<\/em>. Comme son nom l’indique, il est orn\u00e9 d’une croix monumentale, faite de pierre et m\u00e9tal, et visible plus de 15 km \u00e0 la ronde. En parcourant alors la cr\u00eate vers l’est durant 2 h, vous pourrez admirer un fabuleux panorama, sur 360\u00b0. Vous descendrez ensuite vers le village de\u00a0Vauvenargues<\/em>.<\/p>\n
