Beyond the picture-postcard landscapes, this colorful walk will surely provide you with an interesting cocktail of images and words to discover the numerous uses of lavender. Known as the queen in the kingdom of Mediterranean medicinal plants, Provence’s iconic flower has been used for millenia in the form of essential oil for healing because of its versality: it is renowned to help people in daily life aches at least in ten ways, among which healing, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antivenom, antispasmodic, antirheumatic, diuretic and digestive.

Thyme, savory and rosemary :
three basic aromatic and medicinal plants
Breathe the fragrances of the ‘herbes de Provence’ !
During this gentle interpretive walk led by your local guide on the northern sides of the Luberon mountains, you will have the opportunity to gather thyme, savory and rosemary where they grow wild. You will learn a lot, including how to identify them and how to use them as aromatic herbs for cooking and in herbal teas, the same way the Provençal people have been using them for millenia.
